AI-Related Data Disclosure (Applicable to Models PLPC001 and PLLB001)
To provide and improve AI-driven features in specific models, we collect and process certain categories of data through device sensors.
- Sensors That Collect AI-Related Data
- Camera: Captures images and video for features like pet detection, behavior recognition, and pet profiles.
- Microphone: Records audio embedded in video clips. However, audio is not currently used for AI processing. Users may replay their own recordings at their discretion.
- Categories of Data Collected
- Images and Videos: Captured by device cameras for features such as pet recognition and behavior analysis.
- Customer Feedback: Includes user-submitted text, images, and corrections related to pet behavior or recognition accuracy.
- Donated Content: Customer-volunteered videos, images and AI processed results intended for AI model improvement.
- Pet Profiles: Includes pet names, images, and any descriptive tags or classifications provided by the user.
- Who May Access or Use These Data
- AI Backend Application: Automatically processes the above data for service delivery and recognition accuracy.
- Third-Party OpenAI APIs: Used specifically for behavior recognition tasks under secure API transactions.
- AI Team: Uses anonymized pet profile images, pet feces images, pet recognition images, donated content, and anonymized feedback images and text to train and validate AI models. Pet profile and feedback images, as well as donated content, undergo vectorization and anonymization through AI-based models. Sensitive user text data is encrypted using standard encryption algorithms.
- Data Team: Analyzes system performance, model accuracy, and user feedback trends using aggregated and anonymized data.
- Customer Service Team: May access limited, relevant data to troubleshoot user-reported issues or provide support (with strict access controls and user privacy safeguards).
- How These Data Are Used
- Service Delivery: AI features such as pet detection, identity recognition, and behavior alerts rely on real-time video/image processing in the backend.
- Behavior Recognition: Third-party OpenAI APIs may process anonymized clips to return behavior classification or pet interaction insights.
- AI Model Training: Our AI team uses anonymized pet profile images, pet recognition images, pet feces images, customer-donated video clips, and anonymized feedback images and text to improve recognition accuracy, all under strict internal governance and encryption protocols.
- Product Improvement: Feedback data is analyzed to enhance feature quality, resolve user concerns, and ensure safety and functionality of AI systems.
- User Authorization upon SubmissionBy clicking the support “SUBMIT” button when providing feedback, you explicitly authorize us to access, process, and use the relevant video clips, images, and related content you provide for the purposes of troubleshooting and issue resolution related to your experience with our products and services.By clicking the donate “Confirm” button within the app, you explicitly authorize us to collect and use the video clips, images and AI processed results you voluntarily donate for the sole purpose of improving our AI models and user experiences, including training and evaluation of behavior recognition and pet identification features. This authorization ensures that our internal teams and AI systems can use your submitted data in accordance with the terms described above and in compliance with applicable data protection laws and device security regulations.
- Human Detection Feature (PLPC001 and successor models)This feature, available on supported camera models, detects human presence when in camera’s view, for the purpose of marking human presence activity categorization & notification, via capture of a single image. It does not perform facial recognition, individual tracking, or human behavior analysis.
- Collected Data: visual media (single image) & event metadata (timestamps, activity log).
- Human detection uses silhouette recognition only.
- Sharing: Data is not used for marketing or profiling. Third-party APIs may process anonymized data for classification.
- User Control: Users may enable/disable the feature and withdraw consent anytime, without losing access to other functions.
We ensure all AI-related data is processed according to the principles of data minimization, purpose limitation, and security by design, with access restricted to authorized team member only. User consent is obtained where required, and opt-out mechanisms are provided for data donation and certain AI training purposes.
